  2. The number of possibilities is staggering! Consider: • Heightens, intensifies, amplifies, increases, strengthens, elevates, impacts, promotes, enhances, enlivens, enriches, intensifies, reinforces, magnifies, compliments, endows. Make sure when choosing the strong verb for your thesis that you pick one that defines the relationship that you are setting forth to prove. In other words, do not simply choose a verb because you like the way it sounds.
