  2. O U R P H I L O S O P H Y Roll Up is a heterogeneous planet that wants to provoke, upset and improve the information system which have no choice over. We are an editorial project whom host and publish forms of art and communication since 1995. The idea is to rise dreams, artistic and social realities normally ignored or censured and associate them with consumer goods, like the king size smoking papers. We are always open to collaborate with new artists and exchange ideas, information and opinions with you all.

R O L L U P papers and tips Roll Up papers and tips is a practical kit in foldable, perforated card, containing king size papers, created time and time again with work by authors and artists from all over the world (illustrators, graphic designers, poets, musicians...). Up until today we've printed over 70 different version! It's produced in two different measurements: 'Perfect Size' and 'King Size'. • Characterstics of King Size • measurements when closed 12-5.5cm • 40 king size filters 2.5-5.5cm • 1 packet of king size slim papers • Characteristics of Perfect Size • measurements when closed 12-4.5cm • 60 filters perfect size 2-4cm • 1 packet of king size slim papers

  4. E X A M P L E 1 perfect size Matteo Guarnaccia (Milano, 1954) visual artist, performer, essayist, event organizer and the most important representative of the psychedelic culture emerged between the 60's and 70's in Italy. He also created this wonderful artwork for Roll Up.

  5. E X A M P L E 2 perfect size Steffen Gumpert (1975), Berlin artist who works as a cartoonist, graphic designer, illustrator and animation designer, also the creator of Hemp Monster. Steffen Gumpert on-line

  6. E X A M P L E 3 king size Mr. Nice is the name of the autobiography romance by Howard Marks, as well as being one of his 43 false names. The book was a worldwide best seller and Howard Marks became a cult within the antiprohibition environment - a good reason for a dedication for Roll Up!

  7. P E R S O N A L I Z A T I O N Would you like to promote your activity with a personalized Roll Up? Personalizing Roll Up is directed at artistic, cultural or social projects for example musical groups, festivals, ecological campaigns, hemp based projects, "safe sex" and others similar. Up until now we've collaborated with numerous artists and developed different projects of which you'll find some examples here. On our website (click on the logo at the top), you can consult the complete list with the relative images in the 'Personalizations' section. For ulterior information regarding costs, quantities, layout etc. please feel free to contact us.

  8. E X A M P L E 1 personalisation This Roll Up is a personalised request by the 'Rifondazione Comunista' party, for their 2006 election campaign for the Young Communists, themed "sex, drugs and rock and roll". 40,000 copies were produced.

  9. E X A M P L E 2 personalisation Africa Unite are a reggae group from the Turin area, they've been together since 1981. Their name is from one of Bob Marley's songs, they have always been directly inspired by him. This Roll Up came out together with their sixth album "Il gioco" (the game) in 1997.

  10. E X A M P L E 3 personalisation The Rototom Sunsplash is the biggest reggae festival in Europe, that takes place each summer in Osoppo in the Udine area. In the last festival (2006) there were 140,000 participants/visitors.

  11. D I S P L A Y We have two different types of displays: The display box contains 25 packets and the blister display piece is made of transparent pvc where you can see 15 different Roll Up series displayed.
