  2. SynergentConfidential Install Episys Preparation If this is the first time you will be installing Episys you can continue to the next step. If this is a re-install of Episys, verify the Remote Administrator Server is closed before continuing. The installation will fail if the program is open. To close the program right click the Remote Administrator Server icon select Close.

  3. SynergentConfidential Install Episys Step 1 To begin, click Install Episys.

  4. SynergentConfidential Install Episys Step 2 Close any running programs, then click Next. If you are reinstalling Episys, please close the Remote Administrator Server before continuing. This is found on the Windows taskbar next to the clock.

  5. SynergentConfidential Install Episys Step 3 Enter the Episys host you would like to connect to, then click Next.

  6. SynergentConfidential Install Episys Step 4 Enter the SYM number you want to default to when connecting to Episys, then click Next. This field cannot be left blank. If you don’t know the SYM number, enter 0.

  7. SynergentConfidential Install Episys Step 5 Enter your Episys username, then click Next. For higher security, you can leave this field blank.

  8. SynergentConfidential Install Episys Step 6 The setup wizard will now begin copying files to your computer. Click Next,or Continue. If you made a mistake, click the Back button and make any necessary changes.

  9. SynergentConfidential Install Episys Step 7 Once the core files have been copied to your system you must now download your Credit Union(SYM) specific files. Make sure you are connected to the network and click Download.

  10. SynergentConfidential Install Episys Step 8 Please wait for the files to download to your computer.

  11. SynergentConfidential Install Episys Step 9 You may see this screen during the installation if you have the Windows Firewall enabled. You will need to allow the Remote Administrator Server (RAS) software through your firewall for Episys to function properly. To allow, click Unblock.

  12. SynergentConfidential Install Episys Step 10 After the files are finished downloading, reboot your computer. Click Start, Turn Off Computer, Restart. *A reboot is required to continue the installation and before using Episys.

  13. SynergentConfidential Install Episys Step 11 When your computer finishes rebooting, the Episys Member Photo wizard will start. Click Next to continue. *If your computer did not complete the download from Step 8, do not proceed with the Member Photo install. The Member Photo add-in must be installed after a successful host download.

  14. SynergentConfidential Install Episys Step 12 Enter the Member Photo username, then click Next. This field will be the same as Step 5.

  15. SynergentConfidential Install Episys Step 13 Enter the Member Photo passphrase, then click Next. This field cannot be left blank.

  16. SynergentConfidential Install Episys Step 14 Enter the Credit Union institution number, then click Next. This field will be the same as Step 4.

  17. SynergentConfidential Install Episys Step 15 The Member Photo software is now installed on your computer. Click OK to return to your desktop.

  18. SynergentConfidential Install Episys Step 16 Congratulations!Episys is now installed and ready to use. Return to Main Menu OR Install Accessories

  20. SynergentConfidential Install Receipt Printers Receipt Printers Click on the type of Receipt Printer you would like to install. Epson TM Series Star TSP-7 Series

  21. SynergentConfidential Epson Receipt Printers Step 1 To begin the installation click Next.

  22. SynergentConfidential Epson Receipt Printers Step 2 Review the licensing agreement. If you agree to the terms click I accept the terms of the license agree, then click Next.

  23. SynergentConfidential Epson Receipt Printers Step 3 Select the Standard setup and click Next.

  24. SynergentConfidential Epson Receipt Printers Step 4 Here you will add the printer to you want to install. Click Add.

  25. SynergentConfidential Epson Receipt Printers Step 5 In the Select driver drop down list, click the printer to you want to install. In the Port Type drop down list, select USB or Parallel depending upon your printer type.

  29. SynergentConfidential Epson Receipt Printers Step 9 Congratulations! Your printer is now installed. The next step is to configure the printer. Click Finish to close the window.

  30. SynergentConfidential Epson Receipt Printers Step 10 Open the Printer control panel and right click the EPSON TM-T88IV Receipt printer. Left click on Properties to display the printer properties menu as shown.

  32. SynergentConfidential Epson Receipt Printers Step 12 Click the Document Settings tab. Enable the Print all text as graphic images option. Now click Apply to save the changes.

  35. SynergentConfidential Epson Receipt Printers Step 15 Uncheck the Feed to cut position before cutting option. Change the cutting method to Do not cut. Click OK when finished.

  37. SynergentConfidential Epson Receipt Printers Step 17 Check the Feed to cut position before cutting option. Change the cutting method to Cut. Click OK when finished.

  39. SynergentConfidential Epson Receipt Printers Step 19 Click OK to close the window.

  40. SynergentConfidential Epson Receipt Printers Step 20 Congratulations! The printer configuration is now complete. Click OK to close the window. Return to: Accessories Menu

  42. SynergentConfidential Star Receipt Printers Step 2 Click the Star TSP-700 button listed on the Hardware section of the website. Save the file to your desktop.

  43. SynergentConfidential Star Receipt Printers Step 3 Open the file you downloaded to your desktop called Star_TSP700.exe , then click OK.

  44. SynergentConfidential Star Receipt Printers Step 4 Under the Model drop down list, select the printer you would like to install. After selecting a printer click Extract files for installation via Windows Add Printer Wizard.

  46. SynergentConfidential Star Receipt Printers Step 6 Plug the printer into an open USB port on your computer. The computer will see the printer and load the Found New Hardware Wizard. Click Next to start the wizard.

  48. SynergentConfidential Star Receipt Printers Step 8 Click Search for a suitable driver for my device, and click Next.

  50. SynergentConfidential Star Receipt Printers Step 10 Click Browse to open an Explorer window. Browse to the Star folder created on your desktop created by the Star_TSP700 program. Open the StarRas folder under the Star parent folder and double click the file OEMPRINT.inf
