  6. PERSECUTOR: • ROLE: Powerful & Rightous • INTEREST: improve a situation, solve a problem • TOOLS: Assertiveness/ Curiosity/ Conflict

  7. RESCUER: • ROLE: Powerful & Heroic • INTERESTS: Be caring, empower the victim to explore and embrace new options • TOOLS: Coaching/ Conflict

  8. VICTIM: • ROLE: Powerless & Victimized/ Wronged • INTERESTS: Acknowledge vulnerability, become accessible to new options • TOOLS: Openness/ Accessibility/ Conflict

  9. Avoiding Drama triangle roles

  10. Be confident in your abilities and motivated to foster confidence in others

  11. Approach others with positive expectations

  12. Be congruent with what you say and do

  13. Support efforts to be more responsible and effective

  14. Clarify consequences, impose them when behavior warrants

  15. Do not do things you feel pressured to do for employees or coworkers

  16. When someone fails to carry out responsibilities, confront the failure without conveying the feeling they have let you down
