Introduction Choosing Leaders is one activity that is carried out in every society. In today’s world, most leaders are chosen not by appointment but usually by election. Voting is a method for a group such as a meeting or an electorate to make a decision or express an opinion—often following discussions, debates, or election campaigns. It is often found in Democracies and Republics. Biometrics is the identification orverification of human identity through the measurement of repeatable physiological and behavioral characteristics Electronic voting (also known as e-voting) is a term encompassing several different types of voting, embracing both electronic means of casting a vote and electronic means of counting votes
ONLINE VOTING SYSTEM” is a web based application in which voter can use his\her voting right online without any difficulty. • He\She has to fill a registration form to register himself\herself. All the entries is checked by the DATABASE which has already all information about the voter. • If all the entries are correct then a USER ID and PASSWORD is given to the voter, by using that ID and PASSWORD he\she can use his\her vote. • If conditions are wrong then that entry will be discarded
