VISTECH: Victoria-Israel Science & Tech R&D Fund In Israel In Victoria • The Victoria-Israel Science and Technology R&D Fund (VISTECH)promotes, facilitates and supports cooperative science and technology research and development (R&D) projects between Israeli and Victorian Companies • Program is based on an MOU between Israel’s Ministry of Economy (formerly Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor) and the Government of Victoria, signed in February 2005 • Program launched in December 2005 with first Call for Proposals • Implemented through: The Department of State Development, Business and Innovation at Government of Victoria • MATIMOP, through the Office of the Chief Scientist (OCS) of the Ministry of Economy

VISITS - Victoria-Israel Science Innovation and Technology Scheme • The Victoria-Israel Science Innovation and Technology Scheme (VISITS) launched in May 2013 by Gov. of Victoria (Dept. of State Development, Business and Innovation) to support Victorian-Israeli cooperation • VISITS builds on the outcomes of the VISTECH program (running since 2005) - Following a review of the program, additional support streams for Australian companies have been introduced to form the VISITS program: • VISTRADE: Trade Missions - VISTRADE supports the organization and management of Australian trade missions to Israel, run by the Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce (AICC) • VISTRIP: Victoria-Israel Trade and International Partnering - VISTRIP provides grant assistance for eligible Victorian organizations to attend recognized trade missions, conferences and meetings in Israel • VISFPC : Victoria-Israel Feasibility and Proof of Concept - VISFPC provides assistance of up to $50,000 to Victorian organizations to collaborate on feasibility and /or proof of concept studies with Israeli organizations (not open for applications yet) • VISTECH: Victoria-Israel Science and Technology R&D Fund – VISTECH supports collaborative R&D projects by Victorian and Israeli organizations whose technologies have commercial applications (not open for applications yet) Support ONLY to Victorian Entities Support to Both Victorian & Israeli Entities
