  4. Video Lite Video Lite consists of four Applications • DVE Application • Video Controller Application • Auto Backup Application • Video Player Application Auto Backup Application DVE Application

Video Lite Video Lite Applications • DVE Application: used for digital video recording. • Video Controller Application: Controls the DVE Application, start and stop recording, and selects the resolution required. Also, acting as a monitoring system to give a warning alert when video file size or disk free space reaches a certain threshold. • Auto Backup Application: For automatically backing up recorded videos in first and second storage destinations. • Video Player Application: This is the digital video viewer application; videos can be filtered by date or time and can be played in Windows Media Player. • All of these modules are installed on a single machine.

Files on average, are 15-20% of other video recorder software file sizes going from approximately 2,000 MB/hour down to 300 MB/hour or even less at PAL resolution. • This significant reduction in video file size allows the video to be rapidly available around the network reducing latency and increasing efficiency for  reporting operations. • The software removed the need for frequently adding and replacing high-capacity RAID storage devices by as much as 4-5 times reducing costs, yielding longer drive life and usage, and minimizing operational interruption(s)

Video files are copied to the Secondary storage automatically and made available for review immediately. • The system can be operated on 24/7 basis . • Records digital video in different resolutions PAL/NTSC.
