Globe Theatre • Globe Theatre On Tour's production of Romeo & Juliet, Shakespeare's greatest love story, will be playing at the Brighton Open Air Theatre from 13 16 May before going on to tour the rest of the UK. • To celebrate, Globe Education are excited to be offering in-school workshops throughout Sussex for all stages and abilities throughout the spring/summer theatre season. • Whether a day of workshops at your school to introduce Romeo & Juliet to your students to accompany your trip to the theatre, or a study day focusing on language, character or performance skills, we can tailor our work to your students’ needs. All of our workshops and sessions are delivered by professional actors and directors working for Shakespeare’s Globe, and all fulfil the requirements of the English National Curriculum and Theatre Studies Curriculum across all Key Stages and all abilities. • Further information is attached to this email.   7. In March 2015 we had a really successful KS2 ‘Build a Pier’ week. We are currently offering the following FREE schools workshops and theme days: KS1/R Materials – What is a pier built from? What materials can we find in the environment around the pier? KS1/R Pier Play KS2 History detectives Inspirational Poetry theme day Fantastic Photography theme day Most of these are now booked but please contact us if you are interested as we will be offering more workshops in the future. We are also offering FREE drop in and bookable family workshops based at the Hub. Future activities include felt making, clay creatures, shell boxes and ‘Shaker sticks’ with Radiator Arts. We are currently looking for KS3 schools to discuss becoming involved in creative projects with us.
