  4. Ordinary World • The world of his parents • The town he grew up in • The place where he is comfortable and where his thoughts go when he is scared or insecure.

  5. New World • The “metropolis” wherein he seeks to find his kinsman

  6. The Call to Adventure • His desire to find his kinsman and the new life that his kinsman offered him.

  7. The First Threshold • When Robin steps onto the ferry to the city Or • When he steps off of the ferry and enters the new world

  8. The Mentor

  9. Talisman or Magical Equipment • His cudgel is his protective talisman that, however, proves quite useless in the new world.
