  11. ¡A hablar! Talk with 2 classmates to find out what they and their family members are like. Include at least TWO adjectives per response! ¡Atención! Vocabularoesencial ¿Cómoerestú? What are you like? ¿Cómoes…? What is he/she like? When we describe what people are like, we use the verb SER (to be). Do you remember the forms of the verb SER?

  12. Los adjetivos In Spanish, adjectives have to agree with who or what they are describing in two ways: 1.) Gender (masculine/feminine) Carlos escómico Elena escómica 2.) Number (singular/plural) Carlos y Paco son cómicos Elena y Celia son cómicas

Los adjetivos Adjectives that end in –o have 4 different forms: Note that when you describe a group that contains both men and women, the masculine-plural form of the adjective is used by default. Porejemplo… cómica Ellen es _____________________. (cómico) Bill y Hillary Clinton son _____________________. (serio) Las muchachas son _____________________. (bonito) serios bonitas

  14. Los adjetivos Adjectives that end in –r also have 4 different forms: Porejemplo… trabajadora Ella es _____________________. (trabajador) trabajadores Ellos son _________________________. (trabajador)

  15. Los adjetivos Adjectives that end in –e& -l only have 2 different forms because their masculine and feminine forms are the same: Porejemplo… inteligentes Leonard y Sheldon son _____________________. (inteligente)
