  3. Operations Training Subcommittee (OTS) • New Leadership: • Chair – Brian Reich, Idaho • Vice Chair – Mike Scott, APS • Updates on RC Office, NERC, & Human Performance Work Group (HPWG)

  4. Operating Practices & Event Analysis Subcommittee (OPEAS) • OPEAS amended charter & reviewed disturbance log recommendations • Operations Issues Work Group (OIWG) developing Post Contingency Planning document • Operating Procedures Review Group (OPRG) reviewed 40 procedures for summer • Performance Work Group (PWG) continues to review Reliability-Based Control (RBC) Field Trial data & has new analysis tool

  6. Variable Generation Operating Reserve Task Force (VGORTF) • Scope statement approved • Diverse membership • Determine different methods of estimating regulating reserve • Analysis will lead to final report

  7. Technical Operations Subcommittee (TOS) • Documents: • Communication System Performance Guide for Electric Protection Systems • Recognition of Power Plant Control, Protection, and Operation in Transmission System Simulation Studies

  8. Critical Infrastructure and Information Management Subcommittee (CIIMS) • WON Security Guideline / Connection Criteria (appendix) to be sent to TOPs / BAs for signature
