  2. Hello and welcome, today we will be advertising our new app idea exclusively for the Design An App competition.

  3. The Product • The product is a simple wish list that allows you to save items throughout the year for those special days. This could be for yourself or maybe somebody else that you struggle to buy a present for. • The user will simply type in a gift idea to the list and when doubled clicked on it will bring up a Google search of the item, enabling the user to compare prices and possibly purchase a gift.

  4. The Product • The app also allows you to create certain alarms for birthday countdowns, Christmas or any other social event that a gift is needed throughout the year. The app has no particular colour scheme as we wanted it to be suitable for all events, such as Easter and Valentines day, rather than staying towards birthdays. • It is very easy to alter these dates and lists with an accessible ‘settings’ icon. • It will also be linked to calendars on social networking sites which are used by over 80% of the worlds Internet users, so birthdays that are linked on Facebook, Twitter and Hotmail for example will also come up on the alarm countdown and you can then personally choose those you want to save and possibly buy a gift for.
