  2. Carrot Three Facts: • The Botanical name is Daucus Carota. • The life cycle is annual. • A carrot is very tall but also can be very short .

  3. Carrot Details • The carrot needs full sunlight to live. • The carrot is usually 20-50cm tall but can get bigger. • They bloom every spring and summer. • It does best in sandy soil and organic soil.

  4. Watering your seeds • Make sure your soil is moist but never soggy and keep lots of sand and organic materials in it. Also keep in sunlight.

  5. Carrot Uses • To dye clothing • For medicine • Eye cream • Treat burns • Used for stress • Make eye vision better

  6. Carrot Varieties • There are a lot of ways to use carrots: • Carrot Cake • Party Platters • Food for animals and other creatures • For recipes and dishes

  7. History of the Carrot • Well the carrot has been around for 10,000 years. It originated in Afghanistan and its color was purple and yellow during the pre-900’s. • It is indigenous to Europe and some parts of Asia . The carrot is one of the best known vegetables today.
