FEUP Engineering Faculty • FEUP is the largest faculty within the University of Porto: • 5,500 students, 435 teaching staff (283 with a Ph.D.) and 200 administrative, technical and auxiliary staff; • 8 undergraduate courses, 23 MSc degree courses and 8 areas for Ph.D. studies, as well as other specialized post-graduate courses. SiFEUP – The Information System • The SiFEUP is an integrated information system, built in-house, since 1995. • Initiative: FEUP direction board. • Main objectives: • Enable faster access and dissemination of information; • Stimulatestronger collaboration; • Increase the interaction with external institutions; • Support to decision management.
