  2. GEOGRAPHY IN FRANCE • France is 80% the size of Texas. • France may be described as four river basins and a plateau. • In the Alps near the Italian and Swiss borders is western Europe's highest point, Mount Blanc, which is 4,810 miles high. • & the Rhine is France’s border.

  3. WHERE IS FRANCE?? • France is next to the Bay of Biscay and the Mediterranean Sea. • France has six neighbors: -Belgium -Luxembourg -Germany -Switzerland -Italy -& Spain

  4. FACT • France is slightly smaller than the size of Texas.

  5. THE FLAG • The Flag was made in 1790. • The Blue is for San Martin, a gallo-roman officer that helped the poor. • The red is for Saint Denis, patron saint of Paris. • The whiteis the color for the Virgin Mary and the Joan of Arc.

  6. Paris BUT N0T • Paris is the capital of France. • The Eiffel Tower that you see to the right was built in 1887 and ended construction in 1889 • It built as a landmark and symbol of Paris. Paris Hilton PARIS,FRANCE

  7. HUMOR..=] • This is Sarkozy, the current president of France, greeting people at an Agricultural Salon. • Well you see what happen was this guy didn’t want to shake his hand because he saw his teeth, and he made this hilarious face!! For some reason he’s always making funny faces!! =]

  8. TRANSPORTATION • One day, when France has enough electricity to keep warm AND eliminate fossil fuels, this is what the people of France will be driving.

  9. WHAT Y0ULL BE EATING!! HOW TO MAKE iiT! • 1/2 cup chestnut flour • 1/2 cup quinoa flour • 2 large eggs • 1 pinch of salt • 1 cup milk • 1/4 cup water • 1 Tbsp melted butter • Filling for 4 crêpes: • 1 cup fresh ricotta cheese • 1 Tbsp + 1 tsp cane sugar • 1 vanilla bean, seeds removed • 5 1/4 oz red currants • Steps: • To make the crêpe batter, place all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth in texture. Pour in a bowl, cover, and let rest for 1 hour at room temperature. • Cook your crêpes using a special crêpe pan or a non-stick frying pan, a few min on each side. • Mix together 3.5 oz red currants and add the sugar and vanilla. Add the ricotta cheese and mix well. • Place a crêpe on a plate and spread some ricotta cream on it. Add fresh red currants. Fold your crêpe into a square (folded pieces under). Serve with a fresh sweet berry salad, red currant and small juicy strawberries. • Sprinkle with confectioner’s sugar and serve. MMM… Chestnut, Quinoa Crêpes with Red Currants and Ricotta Cream
