  2. Scanning Process • Scanner is located in library mezzanine • Keep test separated by class • Place class papers in top tray of scanner • Papers face up • Top of answer sheet in first • On screen of scanner • Press 4 item test • Press next

Scanning Process • After all answer sheets are scanned a report page will be printed • Report page contains: • Scores for each answer sheet • * next to a score means there is an error with the scoring process • To correct errors you will need to go to the website and correct these • Place your next class’s answer sheets into the scanner and repeat the process

  4. Correcting Errors • Go to the website • http://oscar.haverfordsd.org • Enter your username and password • Username: first initial last name (FBrown) • Password: first two letters of your last name last five digits of you SS# (BR23456)

Correcting Errors • From drop down menu select the class you need to work with • Find student(s) whose scores need to be corrected • Any student needing correction will have a small “err” next to their score • Click on his/her score to have his/her answer sheet appear • Make sure pop ups are turned off and allowed at this site

Correcting Errors • Questions needing to be corrected are highlighted in red • Looking at the student’s answer sheet select the answer they had on their paper by click on that choice • If they left the answer blank, leave the question blank (filling in any answer will affect the data) • Click on the “Rescore & Update Test” button • Close the window

  7. Correcting Errors • Student’s test score has been updated • When you close the window • The “err” will no longer show if you enter a choice • The “err” will remain if the student left a question blank • Repeat process for all errors • Scoring is now completed
