  2. Will and John • Will Keith and John Harvery Kellogg were trying to create a healthy substitute for bread in 1894 and they created cereal. • They believed that diet played an important role in a healthy lifestyle.

  3. Sanitarium • Do you know what a sanitarium is? It is a health spa that promote healthy living. • The Kellogg brothers started a sanitarium because they believed that everybody should be healthy.

  4. Poor health • Charles William Post stayed at the sanitarium because of his poor health. • The first brand of cereal he made was called postum which then he turned into Grape Nuts.

  5. Kellogg and Post • Advertising helps Kellogg and Post because the public knew about it. • They are advertising it to the public.

  6. 72 and 54 • Do you know how old Snap, Crackle, Pop and Tony are? • Snap, Crackle, and Pop are each 72 years old!!! • Your favorite tiger [Tony] is 54 years old. Can you picture that!

  7. Kellogg is gone! • In 1980 Kellogg closed their factory! But to make up for it they gave the public Cereal City.

  8. Jobs • Kellogg and Post helps are economy by providing jobs so people can buy food.

  9. Triple R • Human Resources are things that are made from nature. • Capital resources are machines. • Natural resources are thing that are formed in nature.
