  2. 1- The duck has webbed feet. 2- The back feet of the frog are webbed .

  5. waterproof • able to keep water off or out. Ex: You need a waterproof coat when it rains.

  6. 1-The captain can steerthe boat to the correct island. 2- That taxi driver steers the car very well.

  7. steer • To guide and or direct ( the car, the boat, the bike, ……etc). Ex: I am glad that we learned to steer the boat.

  8. 1- I have to water my flowerotherwise it will die. 2- He has to study hard for the test otherwise he will fail.

  9. otherwise • if not or if things were different. • Ex: I ran fast or otherwise I would miss the train.

  10. 1- My baby sister is junior to me. 2- I like to feed my junior brother.

  11. junior • younger in a family or a group. • Ex: The juniorplayers learned from the older players.

  12. 1- The park was very slipperyafter the rain. 2- The street was slippery because of the snow.

  13. slippery • slick or likely to cause slipping. • Ex: • The rain froze on the streets so they were slippery. .

  14. 1- The policeman uses his whistle to stop the cars. 2- I use my whistle when I do exercise.

  15. whistle • Ex: The coach blew the whistle so the team would stop.

  16. 1- I finally finished my homework. 2- After five hours, the train finally arrived at the station.

  17. finally • at last, after a long while. • Ex: • Finallythe long car race was over. .
