China get s much of its rice from us. • Riceland is a major name brand for rice and it’s factory is located in Jonesboro, Ar, in northeast Arkansas. • Rice is grown mostly in the Delta region of Arkansas.

Poultry • Arkansas is the #2 broiler producer in the US. • Broilers are a type of chicken raised specifically for meat production. • Over 1.2 billion birds are raised here per year. • We are home to Tyson Chicken, the number one selling brand of chicken. Their factory is located in Springdale, Arkansas in Northwest , Arkansas. • McDonald’s gets their chicken nuggets from Tyson!

  4. Cotton • Arkansas is a leading cotton producer. • Cotton is mainly produced in Northeast Arkansas. • Arkansas was once known as the cotton king, though cotton production has slowed in recent years.
