RTUG AgendaJanuary 31, 2012 • Summary of the RTUG Subcommittee and contractors discussions to date • Discussion of the draft protocol • Presentation of the calculator including changes since last meeting • Additional RTUG review prior to RTF review February 14 • Questions the RTUG might pose to RTF
RTUG Issues Raised • 22 annual sites plot • Confidence level • Weather data comparison • Cost of metering • Cost-effectiveness • How does the protocol meet RTF guideline standards? - What level of proof is needed? • Is there a way to structure the protocol to allow for flexibility in addressing component measures? • Additional measures? VSD, DCV (Y/N), heat pumps –RTF work underway, Premium Ventilation package, other… • Need program evaluation criteria to support the protocol • Calculator

RTU M&V Field Protocol • Definition of Key Terms • Eligible RTU Upgrades • Required Knowledge and Skills of Practitioner • Required Data Logger Commissioning • One Time Site Measurements and Descriptions • Data Logger Measurements • TMY3 Weather Data • Savings Estimation Steps • Sampling Procedure • Relationship to Other Protocols and Guidelines • Estimate of Typical M&V Cost
Next Steps • RTUG Subcommittee recommendations for RTUG review prior to February 14 RTF review • Questions or issues that RTUG participants might want to pose to the RTF in February
