  3. Outline Review Results • The EAMG outline was sent to a|EA members, Associated EA Organizations, Federal Chief Architect Forum, and other EA mailing list to review. • We got 26 replies. No one said the high level structure is in the wrong direction. But a few people suggested major structure changes. • We will leave the next outline revision to the lead authors. • Suggesting Chapter name change:Chapter 2. EA Concepts and TerminologyChapter 3. Next Steps for Outline Development • Lead authors revised outline for Chapters.Due: 4/30/2006 • All Lead authors harmonize the whole outline.Due: 5/10/2006 • Ratify the Outline by our whole team, a|EA Executive Committee and a|EA Standards Committee. The ratified outline will become the baseline structure of the EAMG.Due: 5/30/2006 • Determine topic leads and authors for each Chapter, confirm writing assignments and collaboration approaches. Coordinating Contents Authoring Roles and Responsibilities • Lead Authors ensure vertical logicality, completeness, and integrity within each Chapter. • Topic Leads ensure horizontal consistency and balanced content distribution between Chapters. • A topic lead oversees each major topic that across Chapters. • Editor in Chief ensures overall integrity and quality. aeajournal.org

  7. Coordinating Contents Authoring Process • The lead author for a Chapter leads the detail development of the Chapter outline to ensure Chapter’s logic flow and quality. aeajournal.org

Coordinating Contents Authoring Process • For horizontal consistency and balanced content distribution between Chapters • Maintain consistent terminology and definitions: Topic leads get terms and definitions for that topic defined and ratified first. All authors use those ratified terms consistently throughout the Guide. Ratified terms are change controlled. • Maintain balanced content distribution: A topic lead makes sure all authors who cover the same topic address different aspects of the topic in the context of the Chapter/section; and each aspect of the topic is addressed in a proper place in the Guide. aeajournal.org
