  2. Childhood • Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill was born at Bienheim Palace, Oxfordshire in 1874. • In 1888, Churchill enters Harrow School at the age of 14. • At the age of 19 (1893) Winston is enrolled into the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst.

  3. The Military at a Young Age • Two years after inrolling, he is commisioned into the 4th Hussars. While he was gone, he went to Cuba and comes under fire for his first time is 1895. • A year later he is posted to India.

  4. Taking a Break from the Military • When he took a break from the military, he fails to be elected to parliament. In 1899. • After failing that, he decides to travel as a journalist to the Boar War. There is his captured and escapes. • After doing that, he is commissioned into the South African Light Horse.

  5. Marriage • In 1908, Churchill is made President of the Board of Trade. • After that he marries the love of his life, Clementine Hozier. • Two years later he becomes Home Secretary.

  6. The War • In 1914, the First World War began. • A year later after the disaster of the Dardenelles, Winston resigns from the Cabinet and rejoins the army. • 1918 was the end of the First World War.

  7. The End of his Life • In 1951, Churchill becomes Prime Minister again. • Two years later he wins Nobel Prize for Literature. • In 1955, Winston resigns as Prime Minister. • Then in 1964, Churchill leaves the House of Commons. • A year later on the 24th of January, Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill dies in London.
