Research Topic (refined) • ‘Actions From Above’ • Tasks – Recognize actions involving: • Single-person (running, limping, throwing, etc.) • Person-person (meeting, dispersing, following, etc.) • Person-vehicle/building (getting-in, getting-out, etc.) • Problems to be solved: • Moving camera (in addition to moving people/objects) • View ‘from above’ (can’t see the entire body) • ‘Far-field’ view (maximum of 10-15 pixels per person)
Data Collection 1(Single-Person) • Collected a simple dataset of 7 actions performed by different individuals. • Actions include: • Walking, Running, Limping, Throwing, Kicking, Picking up an object, and Digging.
