  2. Biographythe Andy goldsworthy: • He was born in Cheshire and raised in Harrogate. He studied fine arts, first at Bradford College of Art (1974–75) and then at Preston Polytechnic (the current University of Central Lancashire, 1975–78), where he received his Bachelor of Arts. He taught sculpture at the Cornell University. • In 1982 he married Judith Gregson. They resided in Penpont and had four children. They separated and currently their partner is the historian Tina Fiske. • In 2001 he participated in the documentary Rivers and Tides, directed by Thomas Riedelsheimer and focused on his work.

  3. Biographychrisofili: • (born October 10, 1968) is a British painter who won the Turner Prize who is best known for his paintings incorporating elephant dung. He was one of the young British artists. Since 2005, Ofili lives and works in Trinidad and Tobago, where he currently resides in Port of Spain. He also lives and works in London and Brooklyn. • Ofiliwas born in Manchester to May and Michael Ofili. When he was eleven, his father left the family and returned to Nigeria. Ofili was educated for a few years at St. Pius X High School for Boys, and then at Xaverian College in Victoria Park, Manchester .Ofili completed a basic art course at Tameside College in Ashton-under-Lyne in Greater Manchester and then studied at London, at the Chelsea School of Art from 1988 to 1991 and at the Royal College of Art from 1991 to 1993. In the fall of 1992, he obtained a one-year exchange scholarship for the Universität der Künste Berlin.

  4. Biographyrachelwhiteread: • Give me Rachel Whiteread DBE (born April 20, 1963) is an English artist who mainly produces sculptures, which generally take the form of molds. She was the first woman to win the annual Turner Prize in 1993. Whiteread was one of the young British artists who exhibited at the Royal Academy 's Sensation exhibition in 1997. Among his most recognized works are Casa, a large cast of concrete inside an entire Victorian-style house; the Judenplatz Holocaust Memorial in Vienna, which resembles the shelves of a library with the pages upside down; and Untitled Monument, his resin sculpture for the fourth empty plinth in London's Trafalgar Square.

  5. Biographytraceyemin’sroman standard: • A tribute to Liverpool's famed Liver Bird, Roman Standard was Emin's first public art project. She describes the sculpture, often mistaken as a real bird, as a symbol of “hope, faith and spirituality” that acts as a point of contemplation. • Emin is perhaps the second in notoriety after the media Damien Hirst. My Bed is his best known work, since he was part of the final three of the Turner Prize in 1999.Emin was born in London, but grew up in Margate. He studied art at Maidstone, then returned to London where he studied painting at the Royal College of Art. Tracey Emin destroyed all his paintings from the first stage. After his studies in painting, he began in Philosophy.

Thinkcritically: • - If every art form is very important to me because each person has their way of representing their style or way of being and we all have the right to express ourselves in whatever way... • -I think so, especially traceyemin's because regardless of her past she managed to get ahead expressing herself as she wants and without being afraid of what people think or say about her. • -The art form that interested me most was that of Chris Ofili because of the fact that I worked with elephant droppings, it seemed like a very unusual way of working. • -No, I have not heard of any more artists.
