  7. Methuselah died at the age of 969 years. (Gen 5:27) 187 Years when Methuselah had Lamach (Gen 5:25) 182 Years when Lamech had Noah (Gen 5:28) 600 Years when flood came (Gen 7:11) 187 + 182 + 600 = 969 Years (When flood came after Methselah’s Birth)

  23. - Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit at his baptism by John the Baptism. (Mat 3:13). In the Gospel of Luke after his baptism, and after being led by the Holy Spirit in the wilderness Jesus announces that “the Spirit of the Lord has anointed me to preach the Gospel…” Luke 4:18. - John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the lamb of God, which taketh the way the sin of the world (John 1:29).

  36. Fanaticism, false excitement, false talking in tongues, and noisy exercises have bee considered gifts which God has placed in the church. Some have been deceived here. The fruits of all this have not been good. “Ye shall know them by their fruits.” Fanaticism and noise have been considered special evidence of faith. Some are not satisfied with a meeting unless they have a powerful happy time. They work for this and get up an excitement of feeling. But the influence of such meeting is not beneficial. When the happy flight of the feeling is gone they sink lower that before the meetings because their happiness did not come from the right source…

  44. The First Angels Message The Advent movement of the 1840-1844 was a glorious manifestation of the power of God; the first and second angels message was carried to every missionary station in the world. GC 611

  45. Second Angels Message As the churches rejected refused to receive the first angels message, they rejected the light from heaven and fell from favour of God. They trusted in their own strength and by opposing the first angels message placed themselves were they could not see the light of the second angels message. But the beloved of God who were oppressed and accepted the message “Babylon is fallen,” and the left the churches. (EW 237) “ In June 1842 MR Miller gave his second course of lectures at the Casco street in Portland [Maine]… with few exceptions, the different denominations closed the doors of the Churches to Mr Miller” Testimonies Volume 1,21

Third Angels Message At the ministration of the Jesus closed in the Holy place, and he passed into the holies, and stood before the ark containing the law of God, He sent another mighty angel with a third message to the world. A parchment was placed in the angels hand, and he descended to the earth in power and majesty, he proclaimed a fearful warning, with the most terrible threatening ever borne to man. EW P254

  47. “God has given the messages of Revelation14 their place in the line of prophecy, and their work is not to cease till the close of this earth’s history. The first and second angel’s messages are still truth for this time, and are to run parallel with this which follows. The third angel proclaims his warning with a loud voice. ‘After these things,’ said John, ‘I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power, and the earth was lightened with his glory.’ In this illumination, the light of all the three messages is combined.” The1888 Materials, 804.
