Chilled Cargoes • Any cargo which is stored above -10º C • Live Cargo, Generates Heat continuously • Precise Temperature Control +/- 0.2º C is essential to prevent deterioration of cargo
Frozen Cargoes • Any Cargo which is stored below -10º C • Dead Cargo, Does not generate heat continuously • Precise Temperature Control is not critical for preservation i.e., If Requirement is -15º C, it can go upto -18º C.
