  2. Weather Below is a comparison of average precipitation and average temperature highs in Santarem, Brazil vs. Sao Paulo, Brazil. Santarem on average is warmer than Sao Paulo by 9°F.

Seasons • Brazil since located in the southern hemisphere has there seasons are the opposite of ours here in North America. • Spring is from the 22nd of September through the 21st of December • Summer is from the 22nd of December through the 21st of March • Autumn is from the 22nd of March through the 21st of June • Winter 22nd is from the 22nd of June through the 21st of September

  4. Seasons Contiuned Four season pattern is only applicable to Southern Brazil Most of Brazil territory shares a two season pattern of a dry (winter) and rainy season (dry). On average the warmest month is February The average coolest month is July The most participation occurs in January.

Air Pollution • Air pollution has increased because of rapid urbanization and industrial development. • Population numbers boomed and cites were forced to expand with little regard of their environmental responsibilities. • So this means that the info-structures were built with products that release harmful pollution into the air. • Many cities and towns are exploring different alternatives to reduce their pollution.
