Electronic Requests and Releases • Relationship to MU Objective • Where does the data and logic for the reports come from? • How does HIM know the patient made a request for an electronic copy • Who is providing the e copy? • Coordination between clinics/ED and HIM department for documentation • IHS 505 form Accounting of Disclosure log should be obsolete and facilities should be using ROI reports instead.

  9. RRU-Reporting Utility • Allows for creation of customized reports • Similar to VGEN and PGEN report utilities • Allows user to set up templates to use for future reporting

  10. Managing Requesting Parties • CHG Change Spelling of Requesting Party • EDT Edit Date Request Initiated • PE Enter or Edit Requesting/Receiving Parties • PRT Print Listing of all Parties • RR Inquire to a Specific Requesting Party • SITE Enter or Edit Site Parameter
