  2. HOMOGRAPHS • Homograph: A word that has the same spelling, but different pronunciations and meanings. Examples: Wind (a) moving air (rhymes with pinned) Usage-The windis blowing hard. (b) turn the stem (rhymes with find) Usage-I have to windmy clock.
