  2. Where did the Huron tribe lived • The Huron tribe lived in the southeastern part of Michigan's lower peninsula.(the red on the map)

  3. What the Huron tribe ate • The Huron tribe ate Deer, Bison, Turkey, Elk, Bear, Rabbit, Birds, Moose and Fish. • They hunted everything

  4. How their houses looked • Their houses were called longhouses. • Only used the longhouses to escape bad weather. • They used tree bark and branches.

  5. What the Huron tribe wore • The Huron tribe made their clothes. • They used deer skin. • They used beads. • They wore dresses and robes.

  6. The impact of Europeans • The Europeans gave the tribe alcohol and illnesses • The tribe lost 75% of their population. • They fought the Indians.

  7. The Huron beliefs • They think the earth was once covered in water. • They gave things to the Sky Woman

  8. What the story tells us about their beliefs • They think the planet Earth was found in a toads mouth. • They believe Sky woman had two sons: Tijus Kaha(good son) and Tawis Korong(bad son). • They believe when someone dies they would go to Join Tawis Korong in the west.
