History • 1997 – Teachers received laptops • 1998 – 1st class set purchased shared • 1999 – 2nd class set purchased • 2000 – 1:1 computing a reality • laptops on carts at high school • 2001 – wireless application implemented refreshed original laptops, heart rate monitors purchased • 2002- present pilot program at CHS refresh laptops as needed update infrastructure

  7. Professional Development • Summer Seminar • Short training sessions at multiple times & tailored to teachers’ needs • On-going continuous support • Just-in-time training • Tech support onsite

  9. Parent and Community Involvement • Computer classes for senior citizens • Community involvement in PBL as resource people & experts • PBL sharing with parents and community members • Public forums, letters to the editor, student representation on standing committees
