Why Should Teachers Integrate language Skills? • Learners rapidly gain a true picture of the richness and complexity of the language for communication • The language becomes not just an object of academic interest but a real means of interaction among people. • Teachers are given the opportunity to track student's progress in many skills at the same time. • Skill integration allows supportive growth in all the main skills and the subsidiary skills (knowledge of vocabulary, spelling, pronunciation, syntax, meaning and usage.
