  2. Overview • If you teach ... • EDGE: Find and sit by Tammy and Gina! • AMP: Find and sit by Denise! • Read 180: Find and sit by Paul/Eric! • English: Find and sit by Paul/Eric! • Swan: 5-10 minutes about the learning targets / structure for the day. • Group: 20-25 minutes sharing strategies and having positive conversations around teaching reading in SPPS.

  3. Learning targets IN THIS SESSION: • I can give one strategy I use in my reading / English classroom in order to get many strategies. • I can make a connection with another reading / English teacher in the district. BEYOND THIS SESSION: • I can try one of these strategies in my reading / English classroom and see how it works for me. • I can email the reading / English teachers if I have follow up questions to what happens here today.

  4. Structure • “Give One / Get One” • Put your name next to ‘Presenter’ and a quick description of the strategy/activity you brought. • Try to be Concise • Depending on the size of your group, try to limit your description so that everyone is able to share • If you want a strategy... • Take a copy and leave your name / email address on the presenter form. • If there is no copy available, leave your name / email address on the presenter form, and hopefully, the strategy can be shared electronically. If not, I can connect with you or your building’s reading coach and it can be passed out that way. • Please get your electronic copies of strategies to me!
