  3. LSIS Virtual Credit The LSIS Account scheme is, in essence, a way for learning and skills training providers in England to access our support services free of charge. An LSIS Account allocates training providers a predetermined amount of virtual credit, or fund, which can be used to ‘buy’ LSIS’s improvement services, such as events and programmes. Every time a service is paid for using an organisation’s LSIS Account the cost is deducted from the account balance. Using this facility means providers do not have to actually pay for any support out of their own resources. From 1 April 2010, each newly activated account will receive a minimum of £2,500 to spend by 31 March 2011, at which time LSIS will carry out a review. (using the online activation form)
