  3. Executive Internship Program • Nationally recognized by US School-To-Work Office • Available in all Pinellas County high schools • Apply now for summer, fall, and spring sessions

  4. ATTENTION Students, Counselors & Parents

  5. What is EIP? • A dual enrollment program enabling • college bound high school seniors to: • explore career options • develop personal & professional skills • increase poise & confidence • earn high school & college credit

  6. “I have grown mentally, spiritually, and emotionally this semester to become an inspired, stronger individual.”

  7. Who can participate in EIP? • To apply to participate your senior year, you must have a 3.0 cumulative, unweighted GPA. • You must have available at least 2 periods for elective courses. • To apply to participate the summer before your senior year, you must have a 3.3 cumulative, unweighted GPA. • For summer, fall, and/or spring, you must furnish your own transportation

  8. What kinds of internships are available? Accounting/Finance Advertising Architecture Business Chemistry Communications Dentistry Education Engineering Environmental Science Government Journalism Law Marine Biology Medicine Physical Therapy Public Relations Social Services Technology Theater Others as requested

  9. Am I a good candidate? • I am energetic • I am a self-starter • I like challenge • I manage my time • I meet deadlines • I work independently • I want to try out a career

  10. How can I apply? • Discuss EIP and your interest with your parents and guidance counselor • Read the application instructions carefully • Complete the application and turn it in to your counselor a week before the spring deadline
