  2. Town Hall of Kaunas It stands in the middle of the Town Hall Square at the heart of the Old Town of Kaunas.

  3. Kaunas Castle Archeological evidence suggests that it was originally built during the mid-14th century, near Neris and Nemunas.

  4. Kaunas Zoo It is the only Zoo-park in Lithuania. Over 270 species of animals are kept there. Kaunas Zoo was founded in 1935 by zoologist Tadas Ivanauskas, and opened on July 1, 1938.

  5. Christ's Resurrection Church It is a monumental Roman Catholic church in Kaunas, Lithuania. The church was consecrated in 2004, and in 2005 it was finally completed.

  6. Kaunas Botanical Garden It was founded in 1923 in Kaunas, Lithuania. The garden currently covers 62 hectares of land. There are 8,653 species, varieties and forms of plants.

  7. St. Michael the Archangel's Church It is a Roman Catholic church in Kaunas, Lithuania, closing the perspective of the Laisvės alėja, the main pedestrian street. It was built between 1891 and 1895.

  8. Kaunas State Musical Theatre It is a musical theatre in Kaunas. For some time it was playing mostly operettas.

  9. Ninth Fort The Ninth Fort is a stronghold in the northern Šilainiai elderate of the Lithuanian city of Kaunas, making a part of the Kaunas Fortress.

  10. Pažaislis Monastery It is the largest monastery complex in Lithuania, and the most magnificent example of Italian baroque architecture in the country.

  11. Tadas Ivanauskas Zoological Museum It was established in 1918. It currently contains thousands of taxidermically preserved animals in an edifice comprised of four large floors.

  12. Vytautas the Great War Museum It is a museum in Kaunas, Lithuania. It was opened on 16 February 1936 and named after the Grand Duke of Lithuania, Vytautas. The museum displays a history of Lithuania and Kaunas from prehistoric times to the present day, as well as an the tragic but complete wreckage of the plane Lituanica, on which Steponas Darius and Stasys Girėnas had crossed the Atlantic Ocean in 1933.

  13. Žaliakalnis Funicular Railway It is the oldest funicular in Lithuania and one of the oldest working funiculars in Europe.

  14. Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Kaunas It is an ecclesiastical territory and diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in Lithuania.

  15. Dainavos Secondary School The school was built in 1973. It was called the 34th School. In May 8 in 1992, it was named DAINAVOS, for the former village which was located near the place where the school is now. School’s current principal is the Lithuanian language specialist Vytautas Kvederaitis.

  17. Honour in knowladge On the 8th of May, 1998 the school was celebrating its 25th anniversary. Until then, there were 22 high-school graduated generations including: • 12 students graduated with gold medal. • 31 student graduated with silver medal. • 11 students graduated with commendations.
