  4. Democracy • Demos= people • Citizens have a say in this type of government. People elect their leaders and/or representatives. • “Rule by the people”

  5. Totalitarian • Total power is in the hands of the leader. • Leaders do not need to consult with the citizens when making decisions.

  6. Anarchy • A situation where there is no government. • Usually occurs after a civil war.
