Capabilities and Benefits – New & Transition Services VCJCS Initiatives SKIWEB Unclassified Info Sharing Joint User Messaging • Provides a collaboration environment and tools for interaction with non-DOD partners over the commercial Internet • Enables rapid integration of ad hoc mission partners into planning and decision cycles • Improves situational awareness and information exchange for humanitarian and disaster recovery missions • Provides a user interface as well as machine-to-machine service • Improves situational awareness through real-time notification and update of information • Eliminates need for individual system to system interfaces through publish/subscribe approach Event Management Framework • Provides a Command and Control Decision Support Assistant for Command Center Watch Officers • Capabilities include: Automated content discovery, data reduction, data correlation, and alerting capabilities • Improves efficiency and effectiveness by transitioning raw data into actionable decision information. • Provides event entry and threaded discussions • Enables decentralized planning, decision- making, and execution of mission areas without abdicating responsible control • Improves situational awareness on events occurring in other domains JCTD Transitions Warfighter Utilization Shows Direct Mission Benefits 4 4
