  1. Visions of The Future Billy bowles, Tom Rathbun, Jacob Lewis, LevonMikaelian

  2. The Class Purpose • To learn how to use Office and stuff. • To actually learn how to use the most common software effectively for whatever we may need to use it for in the future. • Learning the intermediate functions of office excel, office access, office power point office and office word • To me this class is meant to help you learn how to function in a work environment as well as make you perform at a more productive rate using modern word processors like word and pp and excel etc .

  3. Class Culture, quality of work together Varied, best work taken from random ideas being taken from most of the class and being applied by the motivators of the group/class. Work in groups of four like we’re doing. I think that working together is a great thing. I enjoy it and I find that people are more willing to do their work when the load is distributed evenly. It is one of teamwork and cooperation. Some individuals “take the reins” as leaders, but everyone tends to contribute somewhat equally.

  4. How learning Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint could impact your future Being able to use a computer is a definite advantage, but in order to use the computer for business purposes you need to know how to use the basic programs like word/excel and other such programs. Unless you can use those, you can’t really use the computer for much other than pleasure and notes. Help to be as productive and efficient at these programs as possible to further our own careers in the line of work that we do. Whatever that may be as computers can be applied to just about any kind of career. Learning more about word’s programs would help me make a place for myself in the work force and could make me have a edge that others may not have. All the cool kids know how to use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. No one cares about Access. (sorry)

  5. Best way to learn this software Explaining the basics of the program or a function of the program, then giving us a project (much like the others we’ve been given so far) that uses the principles just covered, and whenever someone uses something new, explain it to the class. In groups of four or so doing projects with work being dispersed evenly. The best way to learn this software is in groups with people that are all on the same level as you so that you can support each other and there thoughts. The best way to learn this software is to use it.

  6. Role of instructor Giving a general purpose to the class, giving the class a direction, the teacher assigns the goal for the class to work for, explains something that might be needed to get there, and then keeps the class to a dull roar. Giving effective projects that efficiently and productively help us to learn these programs as fast and easily as possible. The role of the instructor is to communicate the programs in a way that you can understand and help you apply them in the real world. The role of the instructor is to give us certain goals to attain by the end of each class.

  7. Role of the participants Learn the material and use in the best possible way to achieve the goal, as well as creating interesting presentations to keep people… well, interested. To finish projects and relate them to their current careers in small side projects. Role of participants is to do just that work together and learn from one another . The role of the participants is obvious. (sorry again)

  8. Decision-making and planning processes - who does what, "who's in charge" The teacher, by rights, is in charge, but each group falls into a seeming hierarchy of whoever has the most motivation ideas, everyone else then working to assist that person(s). each project should be delegated as needed I think having a order of charge works and helps keep people organized and on track The “leaders” tend to make most of the decisions, but a lot of contributions are made by everyone else.
