  2. Agile Development Methodology Agile Development focuses on constant collaboration and interaction between team members. You can easily enhance knowledge creation and knowledge sharing with the help of agile practices. A cross-functional team is an organizational team consists of members at the same level of hierarchy but serves different areas. With the use of cross-functional team, you can easily increase creativity and problem solving. In agile software development, group of software development that are based on iterative development in which requirements and solution evolve through collaboration between self-organizing cross functional team.

Teams like this are useful when you need to bring people with different expertise together to solve a problem, or when you want to explore a potential solution. For example, you might put together a team made up of people from finance, engineering, production, and procurement to come up with a solution to reduce the lead-time for a new product.
