  5. History: from 1925 to today 1925: Born in Malavedo (Lecco) 1° production plant of Maggi Catene. The company was founded by Giuseppe Maggi and his sons Giovanni e Luigi 1933: With the advent of the automobile industry the Maggi Catene begins mass production of snow chains. The 1st Maggi’s patent in the field of snow chains was presented. 1950: Maggi Catene, occupies now 80 employees and began diversification of production, opening up to new markets. 1960: Starting with the first exports in European markets. 1968: It was open the 1° factory in Olginate (Lc). 1970: Maggi Catene launched the patent “VITTORIA”. Maggi now is the 3° chains producer in Europe

History: from 1925 to today 1975: Maggi Catene opens the 2° chains factory plant in Olginate 1980: Maggi Catene now exports 70% of the turnover in over 30 countries With an important presence in the marine industry, hardware, agricolture and Snow chains. 1982: Maggi bought the company TEMPERA specializes in heat treatments 1993: Inauguration of the factory at 3 ° Olginate (LC);Maggi closes the historical establishment Malavedo.And now it occupies 110 employees 1998: Maggi acquires majority stake ofZINCOFUOCO company specializing in hot dip galvanized treatment for chains and accessories 1999: Maggi Catene obtained ISO 9002

History: from 1925 to today 2001: Maggi Chains opens the MCC GROUP FAR EAST in Ningbo, China Maggi catene buy Trak’s snow chain patents from a Swiss company Technomag and they obtained the ISO 9001 VISION 2000 2003: 2004: Maggi Catene exports 70% of the sales in over 65 countries And remains a strong multisectoral company. 2005: MAGGI GROUP SPA holding was founded to cover all the production activities of Maggi’s family. The group has a turnover of 35 milions euro with 200 employees Construction of the new logistics plant of 2500 square meters in Olginate.Maggi entered the security market in France 2010: The new sale system Self Matic presented to Internationale Eisenwaren Koln 2012 2012:
