Who is eligible for funding? • If you are a Manufacturing SME • If your company is ambitious with the drive to grow, and you have a project in mind that will: • increase profits • help secure new contracts or • create new jobs • MAS may be able to offer grant funded support.. and make sure you succeed.

  4. MAS Grant support • Up to £3,000 available for each company • 50% matched by the company ( i.e. You pay £3000 we pay £3000 ) • Grants awarded during or following the on site review • Grants are measured against return on investment based on business growth opportunities • Simple application form, completed and approved by your local advisor – turnaround time within a week or often during the review meeting • Repeat Projects • 1st Project in rolling 12 month period – up to 50% subsidy • 2nd Project in rolling 12 month period – up to 40% subsidy • 3rd Project in rolling 12 month period – up to 30% subsidy

Eligible Projects for mas funding • Developing a medium to long term strategy for growth • New markets • Succession Planning • Up skilling • Marketing Strategy • Developing and / or introducing new products * • Reducing operational costs • Introduction of advanced manufacturing techniques • Servitisation

Non - Eligible Projects • Sales lead generation, identifying selling agents (UK & Overseas) • Generation of marketing and selling materials • Advertising, PR, Marketing materials, Logos & Branding, Brand Management • Intellectual property fees • Anything related to websites or social media • Open training courses, NVQ courses • Anything that is a statutory requirement • Preparing annual accounts, Tax and VAT consultancy

  7. OUTPUTS SO FAR THIS YEAR • In the past 15 months, 9000 firms have received specialist MAS support • Our manufacturers advise us that we have : • Created 7200 jobs • Safeguarded over 20,000 jobs • Delivered 20 x R.O.I. • Achieved 98% satisfaction

Product Development Centre • A free Innovation Review and Action Plan to highlight the key areas for support and ensure they receive the most appropriate help at the right time • Up to 2 days of free support from our dedicated team of experts advisors • Grants to support 40% of external costs (average £4k) associated with your product development • Access to an exclusive ‘Knowledge Hub’, linking them with specialist expertise within universities, colleges and research centres • Signposting to further support from MAS & other providers to ensure you maximise the support available for their business
