Mr. B • Doesn’t consider during the week that he is a child of God • Doesn’t care too much about attendance as long as he makes it Sunday AM • Is indifferent during worship service • Has more important things to do rather than attending Gospel meetings • Never invites people to church or Bible study

Religious emotion – where should we be? • Mr. A & B • Realize that emotion is ruled by Scripture, not Scripture ruled by emotion • They realize that the truth of God’s word must not be compromised • They realize that emotion is a necessary element of service to God • Therefore they will be concerned about brethren and lost souls, be willing to teach salvation, be willing to hold fast the truth
