Why should School Teach Robotics?

Children should be well ever of the changes in the technology taking place around them. It is very important that students are ready for the future as there is going to be a lot of changes happening. It is time that the entire world change from the manual mode to automatic. The first step towards this transformation can start from the school itself. This is why it has been initiated that robotics labs in school be established. It can increase the concentration and creativity of the students in a practical way that is very different from the theory books.

  1. Why should School Teach Robotics? Children should be well ever of the changes in the technology taking place around them. It is very important that students are ready for the future as there is going to be a lot of changes happening. It is time that the entire world change from the manual mode to automatic. The first step towards this transformation can start from the school itself. This is why it has been initiated that robotics labs in school be established. It can increase the concentration and creativity of the students in a practical way that is very different from the theory books. The government has also taken multiple initiatives through which robotic labs can be installed in different schools. The syllabus has been incorporated as a regular course and students are expected to submit assignments as well. All this process is for the betterment of the student and ready them for the future. The best part of having a robotics lab in a school is that it is a very interesting subject. Students are finding it amazing to work with practical robots and code them as they want. It has also increased the participation rate of the student. This has also led to the overall development of the students. This part of education cannot be obtained through a book but needs interaction between a small group. Knowing the Program Students are familiar with computer language and robotics is just an added section. Most of the robots formation require programs that are easy to understand and implement. Students are encouraged to participate actively and through this, they are growing an excellent skill that is going to be a necessity in future. Programming alone can be really boring as it required a lot of concentration. But when it is ended up with robot formation students gain interest as they can see what they program. Apart from programming students, also have to assemble the different parts to make it functional. Average students have always found it hard to work with applied codes as they are hard to analyse while working. The proper coding can only be visualised after running it. This is not all, as in case of any faults the students have to rewrite or go to the entire list of codes and find the fault. With robotics this not the case. It is a continuous process and the students can actually see what they are doing and

  2. where the flaw lies right after writing the code. This has given them additional power to work on different characters. The process is all about tangibility and visual representation. Being Creative The entire syllabus of robotics consists of industrial-grade work that makes it even more appealing and practical. The books have been written decades back and some of them might be redundant. Whereas, robotics is a very new addition that makes it all the more practical rather than being just texts. In a robotics lab in school, everything is tangible and visibly working. Students are learning about engineering, mathematics and technology together. It is the interactive nature that is making it all the more laudable.
