  1. The Right Way To Dispose Of Sanitary Pads Sanitary pads every year contribute to a large amount of landfill waste everywhere. In India alone, sanitary pads contribute to 113,000 metric tons of waste every year. By properly disposing of sanitary pads, the waste production can be reduced, and if we use biodegradable sanitary pads and disposable bags, the waste can biodegrade over time. So, let's see how to dispose of sanitary pads perfectly. The best and easiest method is to put them in a separate biodegradable disposable bag. First, remove the sanitary pad from your underwear, fold it, and put it in a disposable bag. Whether heavy flow pads or regular flow pads, nowadays these pads from various brands come with disposable bags themselves. The best option is to choose them so as to avoid any hassles. In emergencies or if you don't have disposable bags, you can choose to wrap the sanitary pad in its own cover and put it in the trash. This might not be very friendly, but it does the job when needed. This will indeed prevent any mess or odor.

  2. At last, you can try the old way and dispose of the sanitary pad in a newspaper by sealing it in plastic. Toilet paper can also come in handy in this case. You can make a wise decision for the environment by choosing to dispose of the sanitary pad in the right manner. Another alternative that can be used is cloth sanitary pads, which can be washed and reused and don't need to be disposed of.
