  2. Birth Jackie Robinson was born in 1919. Jackie was the youngest out of his siblings and his mom’s favorite. His siblings did not mind.

  3. Jackie played every sport at U.C.L.A. He was the first person to play every sport at U.C.L.A.

  4. After Jackie got out of high school he went into World War II.

  5. After Jackie got out of World War II he was walking down the street and a hard ground ball was hit his way. He grounded it perfectly and made a perfect throw. A player on their team ask if Jackie would play for them for 400$ a month. He excepted the offer. Now he was apart of the Kansas City Montreal.

  6. Branch Ricky was going to sign the first black African American player to play for him.

  7. Branch Ricky was looking through the files and saw Jackie Robinson. He sent one of his agents out to see how well he played. He brought Jackie back to Branch Ricky and he signed the deal. Now he was apart of the Dodgers and his number was 42.

  8. Jackie's fielding average for second base was .992 that year. He holds fielding average for second base.

  9. Jackie retired in 1956. On the second game of the World Series Jackie threw out the first pitch. A young man ask him if he could sign his ball. He replied he could not because he would mess up the other signers on the ball. The fan replied he did not want any other names on the ball. He just wanted his. He sign it.

  10. Nine days later form the day he sign the ball, he died.
