  1. Small Business: Office 365 Home or Business? We at Meridian Solutions are providing an opportunity to buy Online MS office365. We have spoken with a number of small business owners recently who purchased Office 365 Home when they purchased a new PC or Surface. They had heard of Office 365, maybe a friend used it to replace their server. After purchasing the license, the customer found they did not have the features they expected. Office 365 Home is licensed for home use only, and does not include many of the features of Office 365 that are important to business. Home Plans: The Home plans are designed to provide licensing for Microsoft Office on your home machines. You have 1 TB of storage in the cloud for your files to be saved, and you receive limited Skype use for phone calls. Office 365 Home supports up to 5 users, and Office Personal supports 1 user. Comparable Business Plan: The comparable plan for small business is Office 365 Business. Like the two home subscriptions described above, it provides Microsoft Office desktop software. Like the Office 365 Home, the user can install the software on up to 5 devices and there is cloud storage. Note: The Office Versions differ between Home and Business edition. If you plan to use the software for business it is best to start with Office 365 Business instead of Office 365 Home. The sister plans to Office 365 Business are Office 365 Business Essentials and Office 365 Business Premium.
