  2. What is CSMBC? • CSMBC stand for Colorado School of Mines Broadcasting Club • Founded in 2005 through EPICS project • Overseeing organization of Mines Internet Radio (MIR) • MIR broadcasting split in two categories

Mines Internet Radio • Category 1: Music Broadcasting • 49 shows broadcast LIVE each week • Equates to over 60 hours advertising range • AutoDJ program plays material when not live • Category 2: Event Broadcasting • Covers home and some away sporting events throughout the school year • Also broadcasts special events covered throughout the year

Expansion • By end of semester will have the music channel broadcasting in Ben Parker Student Center and Slate Café • Provides opportunity to reach freshmen and students not currently involved in organizations along with those actively involved • Plans in works to take under CSMBC an AM radio station to broadcast to local Golden Area

  5. Advertising with CSMBC • On average advertising spots range from 15 to 60 seconds but can be longer • Advertising can cover: • Information about organization • Announcement of Service events • Reminders of meetings and times • Etc. • We will produce advertisement to your specifications

  6. Advertising with CSMBC • You choose when advertisement is played throughout the week and how long we run the ad • We will send a copy to you before the ad goes on air to verify quality and information • Discount available for student organizations for both music and sports channels

  7. Process for Advertisement • Obtain Mines Internet Radio Advertising Contract (3 pages) • Fill out 1st and 3rd pages and return entire contract to CSMBC drop box (located outside the Oredigger Office) Note: Allow 5 Business Days for advertisement production *Additional Contracts located in drop box*
