  2. Data Files What inference can you make about your country based on the data files? The inference I can make between Jamaica and United States was that there are more doctors in the United States and a less amount of the infant mortality than Jamaica.

  3. Geography • In Jamaica their weather is a hot and humid tropical land. Their land is filled with mountains, plains, and a large body of water called the Caribean sea. There are many hurricanes in Jamaica through the months of July to November.

  4. History Jamaica got its independence in 1962 after the British Colony let go of its rule after 200 years of conquest.

  5. Government Constitutional parliamentary democracy and a commonwealth realm Capital Building in Jamaica

  6. Economics • Jamaica is very strong in agriculture. They grow sugar cane, bananas, coffee, yams, vegetables, poultry, goat, milk, and shell fish.

  7. Culture Language-English Religion-Methadist and aptist Clothing-open clothes with jamaicans colors Celebrations-jonkonnu (a traditional dance) Food-jerk chicken, goat, beef patties, and corn porridge

  8. Connections • Jamaica paved runways for the military/travelers in different countries for them to come in and out of Jamaica.
