DISPERSION OF ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES: Region 1 = 1 Region 2 = 4 Region 3 = 3 Region 4 = 16 Region 5 = 3 Region 6 = 6 Region 10 = 3

AGRO-PROCESSING SECTOR SEAFOOD PROCESSING SUB-SECTOR There are five (5) investment projects Three (3) are new projects (N) and two (2) are expansion projects (EX) Four (4) are operating (O) and one (1) is in the “pipeline” (PL) TOTAL INVESTMENT The total investment is three billion four hundred and sixty million Guyana dollars (G$3.460 Billion) TOTAL DIRECT JOBS The total number of new direct jobs is eighty (80) and another two hundred and thirty (230) employees were rehired by United Star Seafoods and Pritipaul Singh Investments after acquisitions. 1 FDI AND 4 LOCAL INVESTMENT PROJECTS INVESTMENT PROJECTSAMOUNTS INVESTED G$NEW DIRECT JOBS CREATED
